Your control panel is how to you customize & control your account. You can change your business directory listing, your account profile,
business profile, add photos and images to your picture galleries, edit your web page(s), etc. What ever resources are available to you under
which ever account type and plan you have, it is all accessible from your control panel.
For a regular member, the control panel may or may not be available to you, again depending on the type of membership you have opted for. If you are a business listing account member, then the control panel is available and is essential to you. It is best to become familiar with it and to learn how to take advantage of the tools it gives you for promoting your business or service.

After you log in, you will see at the top, right-hand corner of the screen My Control Panel. If you click on this, you will
be taken to your control panel. The options available and even the appearance of the control panel may vary depending on the options you
have signed up for, but every thing starts at this one point: your control panel.
Log in and go to your control panel. You will see (if you have a directory listing with your particular account) an option for Business Directory Listing. Click on this and you will taken to the control panel page specifically for editing your listing. You can add pictures, change the text, do many things to the listing. You should watch the available training videos for some examples of how to create and edit your directory listing.
Of course, editing your listing is optional. The system will set up a default listing for you after you sign up and complete your business profile.

If you have a merchant (business directory member) account, then you will have one or more web pages available to you. (The basic account comes with one web page. The Gold Plan allows for 5 pages, with which you can set up a fairly complete web site. The Platinum Plan gives you an unlimited number of web pages you can use.)
To edit the content on your web page(s), log in, go to the control panel, and you will see an option for Web Page or Web Pages. Click on this and you will be take to the web page editor.

Information on upgrading your business directory account to either Gold or Platinum -- and the reasons why you might want to do that, will be coming shortly. Right now, we're focused on getting the business directory up at the basic level and getting as many subscribers as possible as quickly as possible.
The system allows you to upload, store and then use various pictures and images of your own. They are kept in collections, known as galleries. The basic account comes with two galleries. You can use them any way you wish, but we suggest using one for pictures related to your business (or service), such as a photo album you might include for the public to see, and the other for keeping art work, backgrounds, headers, banners, etc, for use on your web pages.
Additional galleries can be had as upgrades to your account. Other account plans include more galleries. The maximum number of pictures allowed to a gallery is 25, but this, also can be increased, as an account option, should you want more pictures for your listing or web page(s).

There is an icon library available [at this time, it is not yet decided if the icon library will be available with the basic (ie, free) plan or only with the upgraded plans], containing over 1,000 icons. Such things as

At the two lower level plans (Silver (the basic, Free account) and Gold, our advertising shows up on your pages, along the left hand side. At the higher level plan, Platinum, all our advertising is removed and the entire page (as many pages as you want, actually, with the Platinum plan) is yours to use as you wish, along with a full administration panel, your own database, complete access to your own installation of the Whisper Tools, and more. Information on account upgrades will coming shortly, as we get the site further developed and more folks on board.
